Privacy & Security
This policy explains what MatureSearch collects, how it's used, and the controls you keep over your own dating site privacy - in plain, formal English, without legal filler.
MatureSearch is built on a simple premise: your dating activity is nobody's business but your own. This Privacy Policy explains what information MatureSearch collects from members in the United States, how that information is used, and the controls you have over it. It applies to every visitor and registered member of the platform.
MatureSearch treats dating site privacy as the baseline requirement, not a premium add-on, and this policy is written to show exactly how that commitment works in practice - the approach behind why we describe MatureSearch as the safest dating site option for members who value discretion above all else.
When you create a MatureSearch account, you choose a display name, an age range, an approximate area (not a precise home address), and at least one profile photo. You may optionally add a short bio and exchange messages with other members. We never ask for your Social Security number, a government-issued ID, or banking details during sign-up, and we never request access to your personal social media accounts.
To keep the service secure and functioning, MatureSearch automatically logs basic technical data: device and browser type, session timestamps, and a coarse, IP-derived region used for local matching and fraud checks. This automatic data supports security and matching only - it is never compiled into a public profile and is never visible to other members.
MatureSearch uses the data described above for a limited set of purposes, each tied directly to running a private, verified matching service:
MatureSearch protects member data the way a reputable, privacy-focused dating site should: encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and tightly limited internal access, rather than a single marketing claim. Here's how each layer works in practice.
Every connection to MatureSearch is carried over TLS/SSL, the same protocol browsers use to secure banking sessions, so data moving between your device and our servers stays encrypted in transit.
Stored account details and message content are secured with AES-256 encryption at rest, aligning with the encryption standard reputable dating platforms use to protect sensitive member data on their servers.
Internal access to member data is restricted to the staff who need it for security review or support, and that access is logged and periodically reviewed.
Browsing on MatureSearch does not have to leave a trace. With anonymous browsing active, viewing another member's profile does not add you to their list of recent visitors, so you can look around without triggering a notification. Incognito mode goes a step further, removing your own profile from search results and match recommendations entirely while it's switched on. Both settings live inside your account and can be toggled whenever you like - nothing about your visibility is decided for you by default.
MatureSearch offers optional two-factor authentication as an additional login step beyond your password, reducing the risk of an unauthorized party reaching your account even if a password were ever compromised elsewhere. From your account settings you can enable this step, review currently active sessions, and sign other devices out of your account at any time. Because this is a member-controlled setting rather than an automatic guarantee, we encourage enabling it as part of your own routine account hygiene, alongside a unique password you don't reuse elsewhere.
MatureSearch follows a standard 30-day deletion window once an account closure is requested through account settings. During that window the request can still be reversed; once it elapses, your profile, photos, messages and matching data are permanently removed from active systems. A narrow set of records, such as billing records needed for tax or dispute purposes, may be retained longer where applicable law requires it - consistent with the account and billing terms set out in our Terms & Conditions. Deletion requests, like every other account change, are always initiated from inside your account; MatureSearch never asks you to email a sensitive account-closure request to a public inbox.
If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access the personal data MatureSearch holds about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to receive a portable copy of your data, and to request erasure. You may also object to certain processing. GDPR requires data minimization, meaning we only collect what matching, verification and security genuinely require, and it requires that any breach affecting your data be reported to the relevant authority within 72 hours.
If you are a California resident, CCPA gives you the right to know what categories of personal information MatureSearch collects, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of that information. MatureSearch does not sell member data, so that opt-out is already honored by default. You can submit a data deletion request under CCPA the same way as any other member, and we handle those requests on a timeframe consistent with CCPA's 45-day standard. Exercising any of these rights never results in a reduced level of service for your account.
In every case - GDPR or CCPA - requests are submitted the same way: through your account settings, not by locating a separate legal department.
MatureSearch does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers. A small number of processors support the service directly - for example, the infrastructure and payment providers needed to keep the platform running and to process subscription billing - and each is contractually limited to using member data only for the service it provides to MatureSearch. We do not share your messages, photos or browsing activity with other members' contacts, employers or social circles under any circumstance. Cookies and similar tracking technologies used for analytics and saved preferences are covered separately in our Cookie Policy, which explains what each category does and how to manage your choices.
Every privacy request - access, correction, deletion, or a question about how your data is handled - starts in the same place: your account settings. Open the Privacy & Security section of your account to submit a request, and MatureSearch will act on it within the applicable timeframe for your region. There is no public form or email address to track down; everything runs through the account you already control. Review your visibility and data settings inside your MatureSearch account whenever you want a refresher on what's shared and what stays private.
