MatureSearch Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of These Terms
These MatureSearch dating site terms set the agreement between you and this platform for every profile, search, like and message you send or receive. By creating a profile, browsing local search results or using any other part of the service, you agree to this document together with the MatureSearch Privacy Policy and the separate Cookie Policy referenced later in this page. If you do not agree with a clause here, the appropriate step is to close your account rather than continue using the service.
These terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy together make up the complete agreement between a member and MatureSearch. No verbal statement, support conversation or promotional page overrides what is written in these three documents.
Eligibility and the 18+ Requirement
MatureSearch is restricted to adults aged 18 and over, without exception. Every member confirms during registration that the age provided is accurate, and misrepresenting your age to access the service is a direct violation of these terms.
If MatureSearch becomes aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, or that a date of birth was falsified, that account is suspended and removed immediately, with no advance warning required. Age confirmation is one part of the broader account review process described in the Account Registration and Verified Profiles Policy section below, and it exists to keep the platform appropriate for the mature dating audience it serves.
User Conduct and Prohibited Behavior
MatureSearch asks every member to behave honestly and respectfully toward other members, staff and the platform itself. The behaviors below are prohibited and can result in account review, suspension or permanent removal without refund of any unused membership period:
- Impersonating another person, inventing an identity, or using photos that do not belong to you.
- Harassing, threatening or sending unwanted explicit content to another member after being asked to stop.
- Using MatureSearch to advertise a business, solicit payment, promote another service, or run a scam.
- Collecting, storing or distributing another member’s photos, messages or personal details outside the platform.
- Scraping profile data, automating account creation, or accessing the service through unauthorized tools.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or to manipulate the verification review process.
MatureSearch reviews activity that matches known fake-profile and scam patterns — a thin profile with a single unverifiable photo, a fabricated name, or an early request for money or favors — and suspends accounts that fit this pattern closely. For the same reason, members are asked to keep early conversations inside the MatureSearch messaging system rather than moving to text, email or an outside app right away. In-app messaging lets our review process catch abusive or fraudulent activity before it goes any further.
Account Registration and Verified Profiles Policy
Registering for MatureSearch requires only the information needed to build a usable profile: your age, a general area, a profile photo and a short description of what you are looking for. This verified profiles policy exists so local search results stay made up of real people rather than recycled or stolen images. Submitted photos are reviewed before a profile becomes visible in search, and MatureSearch may request a secondary confirmation photo if the original image cannot be verified with confidence.
- MatureSearch never asks for a Social Security number as part of account verification.
- MatureSearch never asks for bank account, card or other financial details to confirm identity.
- MatureSearch never asks for login credentials to another social network or contact list access.
If any part of a verification submission is found to be falsified — a stolen photo, a fabricated name, or a knowingly incorrect age — the account can be suspended or permanently closed under the User Conduct section above. Declining to complete photo verification may limit which features and local search placements are available to that profile.
Subscription and Billing Terms
Creating an account and browsing MatureSearch is free, with additional features available through an optional recurring membership. A paid membership renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless it is cancelled before the renewal date, using the payment method already on file. You can review your current plan, update a payment method, or cancel a recurring membership at any time from account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively reverse a charge that has already processed.
Refund requests are reviewed individually through the support options inside account settings and are not a guaranteed outcome. If a payment fails, MatureSearch may suspend paid features on the account until billing is resolved, while the underlying profile and free browsing access remain available. This document does not list specific prices, trial periods or currencies, since membership offerings vary and are shown at the point of purchase rather than in these terms.
Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of the photos, messages and profile text you upload to MatureSearch. By submitting content, you grant MatureSearch a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content within the platform for the purpose of operating search results, profile pages and messaging — for example, showing your profile photo to other members browsing nearby. This license ends when you delete the specific content or close your account, subject to the retention window described in the Termination and Account Deletion section below.
MatureSearch, in turn, owns its own branding, logo, interface design, source code and the MatureSearch name. Members may not copy, reproduce or repurpose any part of the platform's design or technology outside of normal use of the service.
Termination and Account Deletion
You can close your MatureSearch account at any time from account settings, without needing to contact support or provide a reason. Once a deletion request is submitted, your profile stops appearing in search immediately, and your account information is removed from active systems within 30 days, consistent with the account deletion standards described in our Privacy Policy.
MatureSearch can also suspend or terminate an account that violates the User Conduct section above, the eligibility requirement, or the registration and verification policy, with or without advance notice depending on the severity of the issue. A suspended account may be reinstated after review if the underlying issue is resolved; a permanently terminated account is not eligible for reinstatement. Closing an account ends any recurring billing tied to it but does not reverse charges already processed.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
MatureSearch provides a platform for adults to meet and communicate, but it does not guarantee a match, a response, a relationship outcome, or the accuracy of any statement another member makes about themselves. Content posted by members — including photos, bios and messages — reflects that member's own representations, and MatureSearch is not responsible for verifying every claim beyond the photo and profile review described earlier in these terms.
The service is provided on an "as available" basis, and MatureSearch does not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every feature will remain available indefinitely. Any decision to meet another member offline is made entirely at your own discretion and risk; MatureSearch is not a party to that meeting and is not liable for what happens during or after it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatureSearch's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount, if any, paid by the member for the service in the period immediately preceding the claim.
Updates to These Terms and Notice Period
MatureSearch may update these terms from time to time as the service evolves. When a change is material — meaning it meaningfully affects your rights, obligations, or how your data is used — MatureSearch provides advance notice before the new terms take effect, giving members a grace period to review the update. If you do not agree with a material change, you can close your account during that notice window before the revised terms apply to you, using the deletion process described above. Continuing to use MatureSearch after a material change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Cookie-related practices referenced throughout the service are covered separately in the Cookie Policy, which follows the same advance-notice approach whenever its material terms change.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state in which the MatureSearch operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service should first be raised through the support options in account settings in an effort to reach an informal resolution. If an informal resolution is not possible, any further proceeding is handled in accordance with applicable United States law.
Manage your membership, verification status and privacy settings at any time from your account settings — routine changes such as cancellation or profile deletion do not require a support ticket.
